1. Who we are

Dram ("we", "our", "us") is a fragrance tracking application available on iOS. Our website is gotdram.com. You can reach us at hello@gotdram.com.

2. What data we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service. This includes:

• Account information — your email address, display name, and optional profile photo when you sign up.
• Fragrance collection data — the fragrances you add, their status (owned, sample, wishlist), bottle size, and notes you attach.
• Wear logs — dates you wore a fragrance, any occasion or mood you recorded, and compliments you received.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as which features you use, session length, and crash reports. We do not sell this data.
• Device information — device model, iOS version, and app version, used only for debugging and support.

We do not collect your location, contacts, microphone, or camera data beyond what you explicitly provide (e.g. a profile photo you choose to upload).

3. How we use your data

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Dram service.
• Display your collection, wear history, and statistics to you.
• Show your public profile and wears to other users, if you choose to make your profile public.
• Send you notifications you have enabled (e.g. compliment alerts).
• Respond to support enquiries you send to us.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Third-party services

Dram uses the following third-party services that may process your data as part of delivering the service:

• Supabase — our backend database and authentication provider. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
• Apple — handles App Store distribution, payments for Premium subscriptions, and Sign in with Apple. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
• Fragrance catalog API — we query a third-party fragrance database to look up fragrance names when you add a bottle. Only the search term is sent; no personal data is transmitted.

5. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.

Anonymised, aggregated statistics may be retained indefinitely and are not linked to any individual.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, export, or delete it. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@gotdram.com and we will respond within 30 days.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile → Privacy → Delete account within the app.

7. Children

Dram is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls on our database. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, through the app. Your continued use of Dram after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
